Other Services & Clients:
Kaci has been working with professional Athletes, Entertainers & their families, over the last 20 years and teaches Sport & Performance Psychology at Belmont University. Growing up surrounded by baseball bats, guitars, pianos, golf clubs and surf, some would say learning to walk on the ball field, her unique experience parallels no other.
As a natural athlete, Kaci competed in a wide variety of sports including tennis, golf, swimming, basketball, volleyball, and racquetball, but ultimately accepted a scholarship and played NCAA Division I softball, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Business and Marketing. As a North/South All-Star, MVP and Player of the Year, Kaci consistently maintained the highest batting average, ending her senior year at .562. After an injury took her out of the running for the 2000 Olympics, Kaci became attuned with the unique needs of high performing athletes and how mental health and optimal performance go hand in hand.
While still in the throws of D1 competition, Kaci accepted internships with ASCAP, The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers, and NSAI, Nashville Songwriting Association International, and was contracted by several publishing companies and labels to create specific marketing plans for artists across multiple genres, while also critiquing song and performances. She was so quick in the vocal booth, that it wasn’t uncommon for her to cut background vocals for a new artist’s album and a writer ask her to lay down a lead vocal on a song she’d never heard. More than once, Kaci has been called on stage by a writer to sing BGVs on a song they were debuting, saying, "She'll be harmonizing by the end of the first chorus!"
With a desire to merge her talents, experience and passion for music and sports, Kaci returned to graduate school and completed a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, graduating with a 4.0 and highest honors. She presents nationally on the unique mental health issues elite athletes, entertainers and their families face. With Catch23, Kaci works primarily with clients from the Collegiate to Professional levels, helping maximize performance and thrive both in their professional careers and personal relationships. She also works with parents from little league, to pro-levels on effective strategies to grow our next generation of athletes, and has designed unique programs for middle school and high school teams.
